First of all, I'm not a full-time student. I guess this wouldn't be an extreme worry for most people, but my financial aid will not pay if I am only part-time. So far I have 11 units, so I need an extra 2. I'm waitlisted for chem 1A (#7) and public health 116 (#101), so if I get into either one them I'm good. But I don't know how likely that is, so I'd need to find another 2 unit class or petition for lower units...
Chem 1A is a major hurdle at the moment because it's one of the most basic requirements for MCB. I also have to take this class at Cal b/c it wouldn't look good on a med school application if I took such a "basic" course at a community college back home over the summer. I'm definitely showing up to lecture, but my lab is currently unopened. So what should I do? Where should I go? I hope this clears up by Wednesday (lecture). I also need to get textbooks...
Textbooks are such a hassle. I have none of my required textbooks, and Come Get Used is down. :[ I guess I could go to the student store, buy everything, order elsewhere for cheaper, and then return the store-bought items. Ughhh...
Unfortunately, I took out a lot of my frustrations on Shawn. I feel so bad that we ended the conversation on such a sour note. -sigh- I'm pretty volatile.
I have more worries (work study, sleep, loneliness), but I'll just end it here.
